Alexander-Arnold ruled out of Manchester United clash

Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold has been ruled out of the clash with Manchester United on Sunday.

According to Goal journalist Neil Jones, there is a concern that Alexander-Arnold will be out for two weeks.

The defender has suffered an ankle injury and could now miss Liverpool’s game against Wolves, in addition to the match against United.

Alexander-Arnold has been in impressive form this season, with Liverpool the only unbeaten team in the Premier League.

He has already amassed 18 appearances in all competitions, after making 33 last season.

The 20-year-old picked up the ankle injury in Liverpool’s crucial 1-0 win over Napoli in the Champions League.

Liverpool have a host of defensive injuries at this current moment in time, with Joe Gomez and Joel Matip also out – with Dejan Lovren only recently returning from a knock.
