Arsenal are set to make a club-record offer for Liverpool transfer target Houssem Aouar in the January transfer window.
According to France Football, via TeamTalk, Arsenal are eager to bring Aouar to The Emirates and are prepared to break their club-record transfer fee to sign him.
The report claims that Lyon are so desperate to keep Aouar in January that they will agree to sell him to Arsenal in the summer.
Lyon are willing to agree a deal with Arsenal in January which will see him stay in France until the end of the season before officially moving to England next summer.
France Football claim Arsenal are set to offer £63m for the talented French midfielder, who has burst onto the scene in Ligue 1.
The 20-year-old made 44 first-team appearances for Lyon last season and managed seven goals in all competitions.
