Barcelona are eyeing a second, improved bid for Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho in an attempt to keep Neymar at the club.
The Mail Online reports that the Catalan side believe bringing Neymar’s Brazilian international team-mate to the club could increase their chances of keeping the winger at the Nou Camp.
Neymar is being linked with a stunning £196 million move to Paris-Saint Germain this summer.
The winger is said to be unhappy at being the only Brazilian first-team player at the club with Rafinha also being linked with a move away from Barcelona.
Various reports suggest that he has even told some team-mates that he will be joining the French side this summer.
Barcelona have already failed with one bid for Coutinho this summer, after earmarking the player as a long-term replacement for Andreas Iniesta.
Jurgen Klopp has already tried to play down reports linking Coutinho with a move away from the club, claiming the player is happy at the club and in the city.
