Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen is now a doubt for Saturday’s clash with Liverpool in the Premier League.
Christensen hobbled off for Chelsea in the 73rd minute of their 2-1 League Cup win over Liverpool on Wednesday night.

This will come as a massive concern to Maurizio Sarri, who saw his other first-choice centre-back,Antonio Rudiger, limp off against West Ham last weekend.
Chelsea could now be without two of their first-team centre-back options heading into the clash with Liverpool – who have won every Premier League game that they have played this season.
Christensen was replaced by David Luiz during the game and the Brazilian is expected to start at the weekend in the league as he’s been a regular in Sarri’s side.
The Dane – Christensen – has failed to make an impression on Sarri this season and has not been able to break into their starting XI in the league but with Rudiger struggling, he could have played at Stamford Bridge.
With the duo injured, the out-of-favour Gary Cahill will be expected to start at the back for the Blues
