Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho has asked the club to reject any approach from Paris Saint-Germain as he holds out for a move to Barcelona.
Sport claim that the French giants are preparing a move for the former Inter Milan player, but Coutinho is not interested in switching Anfield for Paris.
Barcelona were linked with a move for the player throughout the summer window and failed with a huge £114 million bid for the Brazilian.
The Catalan side will now return to Liverpool with a January bid thought to be somewhere in the region of £106 million.
Coutinho was reportedly keen on a move to the Nou Camp but did not force a transfer and it’s yet to be seen how willing Liverpool would be to entertain a potential January bid.
The Reds dug their heels in and refused to sell the player in the summer with the bid coming so late in the window.
