There was speculation that Ward could move back to Huddersfield on loan next season, following the club’s promotion to the Premier League.

Ward spent last season on loan from Liverpool to Wagner’s side and was crucial in their successful Championship campaign.
The Welsh international made crucial penalty saves in the play-off final against Reading to secure their first ever promotion to the Premier League.
However, he will not be featuring for the club in the top-flight, with it being confirmed that he will return to Liverpool this summer.
