Liverpool made a bid for Christian Pulisic in the summer and it looks like Dortmund are going to respond by offering him a new long-term contract, as reported by SI.
The 18-year-old attacker has burst onto the scene in Germany, making 12 appearances last season in all competitions, scoring twice in the process.
American-born, Pulisic was handed his USA international debut in March earlier this year in a World Cup qualifier against Guatemala and has gone on to receive eight caps scoring on three occasions.

According to Bleacher Report, Liverpool are still eyeing a move for the teenage forward and will look to sign him in 2017.
With his contract expiring in the summer of 2018, Dortmund are eager to tie him down to a new long-term deal to fend off interest from the likes of the Reds.
However, Pulisic is believed to be taking a ‘wait and see’ approach to proceedings, as he wants to see how much game time he gets this season before deciding his future.
