Spanish giants Real Madrid are interested in signing Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah, according to Egypt’s boss Hector Cuper.
The London Evening Standard reports that the winger’s national team manager has confirmed the La Liga champions interest, but admits that it is too early to read into the rumours.
I’ve received confirmed news revealing Real Madrid’s interest in Salah, but let’s not rush things. To me, he is in an amazing position right now.
Salah has been in fantastic form of late and has been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award for November.
The winger recently became the first player to hit double figures for Premier League goals this season.
Despite netting 12 times in the league, Salah is up to 17 goals in all competitions for the Reds this season.
Reports suggest that Madrid are ready to sell winger Gareth Bale and could be in the market for a big signing to help bridge the gap between themselves and Barcelona.
Liverpool will be desperate to keep hold of the player who only joined the club in the summer but can expect interest to grow if Salah continues in this vein of form.
