Fabinho is yet to feature in a competitive fixture for Liverpool since joining from Monaco but the Brazilian international says he’s delighted with his start.
Speaking to Globo Esporte, as reported by the Mirror, Fabinho has been reflecting on his move to Anfield.
The midfielder was ever-present during pre-season but is yet to be given a chance in the Premier League.
My start has been good, good adaptation. The pre-season was very good, we had nine friendlies and I played nine. It was good to play against English teams to see what the rhythm, the intensity and the physique are like.
The way the team played I got it right, the more experienced players helped me, the technical team as well.
The midfielder is being tipped to make his first start of the season for Brazil over the international break.
Having been named on the bench against West Ham, Fabinho will be hoping to make an impact in the Premier League sooner rather than later.
Jurgen Klopp has previously admitted that the former Monaco man needs time to adapt to Liverpool’s style of play.
