Dortmund have confirmed that Hazard has joined the club from fellow Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach and signed a five-year deal.
Liverpool have been heavily linked with Hazard in recent months and this news is sure to come as a blow to Jurgen Klopp and his summer recruitment plans.
Hazard impressed in the Bundesliga for Monchengladbach during the 2018/19 season, scoring 10 and assisting 10 from the right side of midfield, attracting interest from a host of top clubs.
The Belgian international made 182 appearances for Monchengladbach, scoring 46 goals, as well as having been capped 21 times by his country – finding the back of the net on three occasions.
Liverpool do, however, still have the Champions League final to play at the start of next month before worrying about summer transfers.
