Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has been heaping the praise on his new teammate Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The duo are currently away from Liverpool together on international duty, as they look to help England extend their lead at the top of their World Cup 2018 qualifying group.
Oxlade-Chamberlain’s switch from Arsenal to Liverpool was finalised on deadline day, and Henderson is evidently happy to have the versatile midfielder alongside him.
As quoted by the Mirror, Henderson explained why he thinks Oxlade-Chamberlain will flourish under Jurgen Klopp, and why he can be a key addition for the Reds.
Well, I think, you’d have seen him (Klopp) on the sidelines, he’s very passionate. What you see is a fantastic manager and I think he will help Alex a lot.

He will help him develop as a player and hopefully you will see even more good things from him.
Much was made about the former Southampton protege’s future, given that he had just a year remaining on his contract at Arsenal. However, having turned down more money to both stay at Arsenal and to join Chelsea, he opted to secure a move to Liverpool.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is keen to play as a central midfielder, but is a winger by trade. Henderson believes he’s more than capable in both roles.
I think he can do both very well, he’s a fantastic player, he can adapt to each position, gives you something different on the wing.
He’s very direct and powerful and in the midfield he’s clever enough to get on the ball and get on the half turn so, for me, he can play in either position.
