Journalist claims Mohamed Salah is “not happy” at Liverpool

Mohamed Salah is unhappy at Liverpool, according to Spanish journalist Eduardo Cornago, suggesting he may want to leave this summer.

The 28-year-old has had another impressive season for the Reds, scoring 24 goals and leading the Premier League Golden Boot standings currently.

Back in December, however, Salah flirted with a move to either Real Madrid or Barcelona, havinbg spoken to Cornago in an interview with AS.

Now, the journalist has spoken more about the Egyptian, hinting to ONTimeSports [via This Is Anfield] that he may want to leave Anfield:

Salah has confirmed to me that he is not happy at Liverpool.

Losing Salah this summer would be an almighty blow, with the forward scoring a stunning 118 goals in 187 appearances for the Reds.

This season has only further highlighted his importance to the cause, with Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino struggling but Liverpool’s No.11 still thriving, despite the Reds’ woes.

At 28, he still has several years at the very top, so Jurgen Klopp must do all he can in nailing him down to a new deal, keeping him on Merseyside for a long time still.

matchday.
