Keita ready to push through Leipzig exit

Keita ready to push through Leipzig exit

According to a report from the Mirror this evening, Naby Keita is looking to push for an exit from RB Leipzig this summer, with Liverpool planning a third bid.

The Reds’ pursuit of Keita has been well documented for some time now and they have already had two bids turned down. The most recent offer was worth in the region of £65m and according to the Mirror, a third and final push will be made from Liverpool – worth at least £70m.

Keita, 22, is claimed in the report to have instructed his representatives to push even harder to secure a move away from the Bundesliga outfit this summer, with the player himself keen to play under Jurgen Klopp next term.

The Guinean international is one of two prime targets for Klopp this summer, with Virgil van Dijk of Southampton being the other.

Liverpool are evidently ready to smash their transfer record to land Keita, and a fee of £70m is surely going to tempt Leipzig.
