Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has accepted that midfielder Emre Can will leave the club for nothing this summer.
However, Klopp says he’s happy with the player, providing he continues to give his all for the club, as reported by the Liverpool Echo.
Despite admitting that it ‘is not cool’ to have Can in the situation that he finds himself in. Speaking to DAZN, the German said he has no complaints.
He’ll stay beyond the winter. Emre is still a young lad but he has developed into a great player and is very important for us. Sometimes a player just wants to sit out his contract.
That’s not cool for the club, but there are moments in which you have to accept it. And as long as the player behaves like Emre does, then I have absolutely nothing to complain about.

Can has been heavily linked with a move to Juventus this summer, who look set to sign the player for nothing.
There had been some suggestions that the player could be sold this month for Liverpool to cash in on the German, but those have been played down.
The 24-year-old has been ever-present for the Reds this season, featuring 19 times in the Premier League, scoring just the one goal so far during this campaign.
The player has come in for some criticism from fans in recent weeks following some poor performances.
