Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that goalkeeper Loris Karius will be recalled to the side to replace Simon Mignolet against Maribor on Tuesday night.
The Reds will go out to Slovenia in the hope of securing their first three points of the Champions League group stages. They drew 2-2 with Sevilla in their opening game at Anfield, before drawing 1-1 with Spartak Moscow away from home.
Liverpool have some injuries worries to consider ahead of the game but Klopp, as quoted by the Reds’ official club website, has confirmed that Karius will return between the posts.

Yes, Loris will start. If nothing happens from here on the way to Maribor, then Loris will start!
Mignolet is the clear number one at Anfield but Karius is preferred for Champions League fixtures – a decision that many find particularly bizarre from Klopp.
Karius struggled against Spartak, conceding a somewhat preventable free-kick, and is sure to be determined to right his previous wrongs when the Reds take on Maribor on Tuesday evening.
