Jurgen Klopp has held a meeting with Brazilian attacker Philippe Coutinho informing him he will not be leaving for Barcelona this summer.
The Times reports that the two met on Friday night to discuss the bid from Barcelona, which was reportedly made on Thursday.
Reports suggested that the Catalan side were ready to pay up to £72 million for the player.

Barcelona have identified Coutinho as their long-term replacement for Andreas Iniesta, but Klopp is standing firm on the player’s future.
The player only signed a new five-year deal with the club back in January and is believed to be happy at Anfield.
Barcelona’s interest comes off the back of another strong season for the Brazilian, who scored 13 league goals and registered seven assists, despite the injuries that kept him sidelined throughout the campaign.
The Reds are currently in Hong Kong as part of their pre-season preparations and will be desperate to keep hold of Coutinho this summer.
