Pep Guardiola, Mauricio Pochettino, Didier Deschamps, Tite, Fernando Santos, Djamel Belmadi, Marcelo Gallardo, Ricardo Gareca and Erik ten Hag are the other managers up for the award.

Klopp has been nominated after a phenomenal year in charge of Liverpool in England.

The German boss led Liverpool to 2nd place and 97 points in the Premier League before winning the Champions League by beating Tottenham 2-0 in the final – ending their trophy drought of recent years.

Klopp faces fierce competition for the award, with Guardiola having won the first-ever domestic treble in English men’s football history with Manchester City, but Liverpool fans will be hoping that their man can come home with the award.
