Serie A side Lazio are eyeing up a move for Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The report claims that Lazio are already in talks to sign Lucas, who appears to be surplus to requirements at Liverpool.
Lazio are set to sell Lucas Biglia to AC Milan for a fee in the region of €17m, with his namesake Lucas Leiva looking set to replace him in the Italian capital.
The 30-year-old will have been at Liverpool for ten years exactly later this month on the 27th July.
He has been with the club since 2007, when he signed from Brazilian club Gremio.
In that time, the holding midfielder has featured 344 times for the club – scoring seven goals.
Lucas now looks set to leave the club for Lazio, although no fee has been mentioned as of yet.
Liverpool had a £57m bid for RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita earlier today.
