Lazio are targeting a move for Liverpool striker Divock Origi this summer, according to reports in Italy.
It’s claimed by newspaper Il Messaggero, as reported by Sport Witness, the Serie A side are keen to add to their attacking options this summer and will consider a move for the Belgian international.
Origi hasn’t been in the best form for Liverpool this season but has still managed to tally up a strong amount of goals, helping the Reds into the Champions League.

However, he’s clearly not a pivotal player in Jurgen Klopp’s plans and is unlikely to be in the starting line-up come the beginning of next season.
It’s likely that plans will be in place for Liverpool to bolster their attacking threat, which means that there could be an opportunity for Origi to exit the club in the hunt for first team football.
The report claims that Liverpool are keen on signing Balde Keita Diao from Lazio, and could potentially look to use Origi as bait in a deal.
