Championship duo Leeds United and Sunderland are keen to sign Ben Woodburn on loan in January.
The Mirror report that Leeds have enquired about the youngster’s availability with the January window looming.
Chris Coleman is keen to bring the winger to Sunderland. Woodburn is a player that the former Wales national team boss knows all too well.
After breaking into the first-team setup Jurgen Klopp decided against sending the winger out on loan, with the aim of keeping his development in-house.
However, Klopp has been unable to offer Woodburn as many minutes as he would have hoped for.
The 18-year-old has featured just once for the Reds, with his only appearance coming in the League Cup defeat against Leicester.
Both Sunderland and Leeds are enduring contrasting fortunes in England’s second tier.
Leeds are looking to cement their place in the play-off positions, sitting just eight points off the automatic places.
However, Sunderland are two points away from safety in the Championship relegation places.
