The report claims that Inter Milan, Napoli and Arsenal have also had offers accepted by Lille, which means that there is still work to be done by the Reds before they can bring the Ivorian to Anfield.
Pepe scored 22 and assisted 11 in Ligue 1 for Lille last season and is now attracting interest from some of the biggest clubs in the world, as Jurgen Klopp looks to strengthen his squad this summer.
Liverpool are yet to make a first-team signing, with Pepe potentially on the verge of becoming their marquee arrival.
