Liverpool have made an enquiry for Monaco winger Thomas Lemar, according to a report from the Telegraph.
The France international enjoyed a hugely successful season with Monaco last term, and helped them to win the Ligue 1 title. He also played a part in them reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Lemar has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal throughout the course of the summer, with the Gunners having had several bids turned down. Monaco want to keep hold of the versatile wide man given how many key players they have already sold.

It’s claimed, however, that the Reds have enquired about the possibility of a deal worth €60m; more than what Arsenal were willing to offer for the Frenchman.
This deal would smash Liverpool’s club-record transfer, with Jurgen Klopp seemingly still keen to add more quality in the closing stages of the summer transfer window, which ends on Thursday.
