Liverpool are in talks over a deal to sign Werder Bremen star Jiri Pavlenka this summer.
According to Fotosport, via Sport Witness, Liverpool are interested in signing Pavlenka as a back-up to Alisson for next season.
The report claims that Liverpool are in the market for a new number two and have identified Pavlenka as a target, following his impressive performances in the Bundesliga for Bremen this year.

Werder Bremen, however, are hoping to land Loris Karius – currently on loan to Besiktas – as part of the transfer. The German club are demanding Karius and a transfer fee in order to let Pavlenka go.
Karius is halfway through a two-year loan at Besiktas, but the report says that they are hoping the deal goes through so they can cut his stay at the club short. The Turkish giants want to trim his high wages off their bill as they look to sign Fulham’s Fabri.
