A number of Liverpool supporters are growing increasingly frustrated with Thiago’s continued absence from the team.
The Reds snapped up the Spaniard during the summer transfer window, signing him from Bayern Munich.
There was much excitement surrounding the deal, considering Thiago’s reputation as a world-class player, and arguably one of the best midfielders of his generation.
It has been a hugely frustrating start to life at Liverpool for the 29-year-old, however, with fans given very few opportunities to see him showcase his brilliance.
Incredibly, Thiago has only managed 135 minutes of action so far this season, with a 45-minute cameo coming at Chelsea on his debut, and 90 minutes played at Everton, before getting injured in stoppage time.
The Spain international hasn’t kicked a ball for the Reds in over a month now, proving to be one of Jurgen Klopp’s most high-profile absentees.
Thiago is expected to miss out once again on Wednesday night, as Liverpool host Atalanta in the Champions League.
The hope is that he will be available for Saturday’s Premier League trip to Brighton, but his absence appears to be ongoing.
These Liverpool fans are reaching the end of their tether with the situation, growing desperate to see Thiago back in the fold.
