Liverpool fans react to starting lineup to face Crystal Palace

Some Liverpool fans have been providing their thoughts on the Reds’ starting lineup for their imminent Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.

Jurgen Klopp’s side visit Selhurst Park early this afternoon, knowing a win will put them six points ahead of Tottenham at the top of the Premier League.

Liverpool’s dramatic 2-1 victory over Spurs on Wednesday felt pivotal, but they now need to follow that up with another three points.

Klopp has named his team for the game, with the Reds manager making three changes in total.

Alisson starts in goal, as expected, with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Fabinho and Andy Robertson making up the back-line.

Matip replaces youngster Rhys Williams, who impressed greatly in midweek.

Jordan Henderson, Gini Wijnaldum and Naby Keita are in midfield – Curtis Jones makes way for the latter – while Mohamed Salah is out for Takumi Minamino, who joins Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino in attack.

These Liverpool supporters have been reacting to the starting XI on Twitter, with a number of fans not happy that Minamino is starting, especially at the expense of Salah.
