Liverpool are one of a number of clubs interested in a deal to sign Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez this summer.
According to The Mirror, Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool are all keen on signing the playmaker ahead of next season.
The report does claim that Ligue 1 side PSG and Italian giants Juventus are also monitoring his situation as they both weigh up a swoop for Rodriguez.
Real Madrid are said to be willing to part ways with Rodriguez this summer as Zinedine Zidane does not see him being part of his team going forward.
Rodriguez has spent the last two seasons on loan to Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga, but does not want to complete a permanent switch to the German club.
The Colombian international wants to return to Madrid in order to discuss what is next for him with his agent before making a decision on where he will be playing next season.
