Liverpool have joined AC Milan in the race to sign Gremio winger Everton in the summer.
According to Calcio Mercato, Liverpool are now showing an interest in signing Everton to strengthen their squad.
Milan have been linked with the Gremio star as they look on course to return to the Champions League next season – currently sitting fourth in the Serie A table.
Liverpool, meanwhile, are top of the Premier League and in the semi-finals of the Champions League, which could prove to be a more appealing prospect to Everton.
The 23-year-old has scored four goals in nine games this year for Gremio, after 10 goals and three assists in the league during 2018 for the Brazilian outfit.
Jurgen Klopp is eyeing further additions to his side as he makes plans for the summer transfer window, irrespective of how they finish the current campaign – competing for the league and Champions League.
