Liverpool are keen to keep hold of German International midfielder Emre Can and are not prepared to sell him as Serie A Champions Juventus have reportedly shown interest in the player, according to a report on the Daily Post.
The club are ready to reject all approaches for Can, who was very impressive last season for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
The 23-year-old midfielder only has one more year remaining on his contract and rejected a new and improved contract last summer, so the Reds will be hoping to persuade the German to put pen to paper on a new long-term deal this summer.
Can was influential in helping the Merseyside club to secure fourth position in the Premier League last season and managed to get his name on the scoresheet five times, one of which, the wonderful overhead kick against Watford was voted Goal of the Season.
Liverpool secured the top four spot Klopp knows that he needs a deep squad to challenge on all fronts.
The German manager is a huge admirer of Can and has stuck by the midfielder which led him to having a very good second half of the 2016/17 season.
