Liverpool are reportedly one of many Premier League clubs to have shown an interest in landing Joel Asoro from Sunderland this summer.
According to a report from the Sunderland Echo, the Reds are joined by the likes of Southampton, Everton and Arsenal, who are also interested in signing the Swedish youngster this summer.
Asoro has established himself as one of Sunderland’s top young players and the Black Cats could face some difficulties in keeping hold of him given their relegation to the Championship.
The Sweden Under-21 international is capable of playing up top and on the wing, making him an attractive and versatile prospect to any potential suitors ahead of the summer.
Liverpool will look towards their stellar reputation of developing and nurturing young players if they are to pursue their reported interest in Asoro, as competition builds for his signature ahead of the coming summer transfer window.
