According to a recent tweet from Get French Football News, Aston Villa left-back Jordan Amavi is the latest target for Liverpool.

Amavi shone at the start of the season for Villa but after sustaining a serious, long-term injury, he was unable to push on to the heights that were expected of him as he sat out the remainder of the season.
However, the former Nice full-back’s ability has earned him many plaudits and he is very much a key player for Villa.
It’s looking as though Jurgen Klopp is looking to bolster his defence ahead of the coming season, as the news comes shortly after the addition of Ragnar Klavan from Augsburg and the earlier signing of Joel Matip.
However, contrary to Get French Football News’ tweet regarding Liverpool’s interest in Amavi, BBC Sports broadcaster Pat Murphy has implied that there may not be too much truth to the rumours.

Alberto Moreno has proved on occasions that he may not have the credentials to be a mainstay in the Liverpool team and a new left-back could well be on Klopp’s transfer hit-list this summer.
