Liverpool linked with move for Nice left-back Dalbert Henrique

Liverpool are attempting to bring in a left-back to rival current first choice James Milner and the latest name to be linked with a move to Anfield is Dalbert Henrique.

According to reports in France, Nice’s Brazilian left-back will be targeted by the Reds once they’ve found a buyer for Alberto Moreno.

Dalbert made 38 appearances in his first season for the French side following his transfer from Vitoria Guimaraes for £2m last summer.

The 23-year-old has also played on the left-side of midfield for Nice and that versatility may interest Jurgen Klopp as he could use him as a more attacking option if required.

As it stands, Liverpool have been frustrated in their attempts to sign a new left-back with Ryan Sessegnon deciding to stay at Fulham and with Benjamin Mendy almost certain to join Manchester City in before the start of the season.
