Liverpool are expected to make a move to sign Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey after having an approach for the Welsh star turned down in the summer, as per a report from John Richardson of The Mirror.
Apparently, the Reds enquired about the availability of the 27-year-old in the summer but Arsenal were not willing to sell him as they hoped to get him tied down to a new contract.
However, talks between the Gunners and Ramsey have broken down, meaning he will be a free agent in the summer. As such, Arsenal are looking to sell him in January so they can get a fee for the midfielder, rather than losing him on a free transfer.

Ramsey would prefer to wait until the end of the season to make a move as he would be a free agent and as such, he’d be in a better position to get a much-improved salary and to pick up a big signing-on fee.
Liverpool are expected to make another move for the Welsh star, but they’ll face competition from AC Milan and Juventus.
However, Richardson reports that Ramsey would be keen to make a move to Anfield as he’d like to work under Jurgen Klopp and he feels like the Reds are in a good position to battle for the Premier League and Champions League titles.
