Liverpool are set to demand £8m for Ryan Kent in the summer, due to his impressive form this season.
According to The Daily Record, via Football Scotland, Rangers have been ruled out of the running to sign Kent on a permanent deal.
The report claims that Rangers would not be able to afford Kent if Liverpool were to demand £8m in the summer.

Kent has scored five and assisted four in the Scottish Premiership this season, which has caused Liverpool to reevaluate his price tag.
The Daily Record also claims that a host of English clubs are now interested in signing Kent in the summer, although no specific clubs, or leagues, are mentioned.
He has only made one senior first-team appearance for Liverpool to date – against Exeter in the FA Cup – but has made 117 appearances throughout his various loan moves – including spells at Coventry, Bristol City, Barnsley and Freiburg before Rangers.
