According to a report from The Mirror, Liverpool are set to split the cost of Brazil’s flight home from international duty for their stars Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino.
The report suggests that The Reds will split the £120k fee for the flight along with Premier League clubs Manchester City and Chelsea to get their respective Brazilian players home.
Chelsea will be hoping that David Luiz and Willian can return to the club as soon as possible, with City looking to get key midfielder Fernandinho back in contention.
Coutinho and Firmino have been key players throughout the course of the season so far for Jurgen Klopp, so he’ll be looking to have them both fit and firing for when his side visit Southampton on the first Saturday back after the international break.
Brazil play Peru on Tuesday night and then the squad are set to take the private jet back for the Wednesday morning.
