Liverpool target Werner agrees terms over Bayern switch

Liverpool transfer target Timo Werner has reportedly agreed terms over a move to Bayern Munich this summer.

According to Bild, via The Liverpool Echo, Werner has held talks with Bayern and agreed to sign for the German giants from RB Leipzig.

However, the report does claim that Bayern are yet to agree a deal with Leipzig at this moment in time.

The Liverpool Echo claim that Liverpool have been touted with interest in Werner in the last few months, as the club look to bolster their squad at the end of the season.

Werner has scored 11 Bundesliga goals for Leipzig this season, after netting 13 last season and 21 the season before that.

In almost three seasons at Leipzig, Werner has found the back of the net 56 times in 101 appearances in all competitions, slightly better than a one-in-two goalscoring ratio.

The 22-year-old has also been capped 23 times by Germany, amassing an impressive nine goals for his country.
