Mamadou Sakho’s future at Liverpool remains heavily doubtful, and it looks as though Ligue 1 outfit Lyon are the latest club to have expressed an interest in signing him this summer.
According to a report from L’Equipe today, as cited by GFFN, the Europa League semi-finalists are looking to carry out a defensive overhaul which will involve them targeting a move for Sakho, who was been spending the second half of the season on loan at Crystal Palace.

It’s stated that Lyon will look to offload Nicolas N’Koulou and Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa in order to make room for Sakho, but Liverpool are expected to demand a rather heavy fee if he is to depart Anfield.
Sakho played a huge part in helping to keep Palace up this season, contributing with some sublime defensive performances since his arrival on the final day of the January transfer window.
The Reds are reportedly ready to demand a whopping £30 million for the France international.
