Liverpool appear to have suffered a blow in their pursuit of AS Monaco winger Thomas Lemar.
It’s claimed today by RMC Sport, as cited by GFFN, that the Ligue 1 champions will categorically refuse to sell the France international, who has been on Liverpool’s radar for a while now.

Reports in recent times have suggested that Liverpool have made advances over their move to sign Lemar, and have made a club-record bid for the Frenchman.

However, with Monaco having already sold an abundance of talent this summer, they are understood to be adamant in their stance that Lemar will not be offloaded in the final chunk of the transfer window.
Liverpool seemingly have unfinished business this summer and although Lemar is keen to make the move to Anfield for the season ahead, it looks like Monaco will not let their star man go.
