Liverpool left-back Alberto Moreno has admitted that he would like to return to Sevilla this summer.
Moreno is set to leave Liverpool on a free transfer with his contract due to expire at the end of the month.
The Spaniard will then be free to leave the club and explore his options, although he appears set on a return to his old club.
Moreno joined Liverpool from Sevilla in 2014 and has made 141 appearances for the Reds in all competitions – scoring three goals.
He is a product of the Sevilla academy and played 62 times for their first-team before his move to the Premier League five years ago.
Speaking to La Jugada de Canal Sur Radio, as quoted by The Liverpool Echo, Moreno said this:
Sevilla is my home, I would like to return.
Moreno was restricted to two Premier League appearances this season due to the outstanding form of Scottish defender Andy Robertson – who was named in the PFA Team of the Season.
