Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that left-back Alberto Moreno could be back in the squad to face Manchester City.
Speaking at his weekly pre-match press conference, as reported by This is Anfield, Klopp confirmed that the Spaniard is not yet ready to return to first-team action.
Liverpool welcome the Premier League leaders to Anfield on January 14 in what is a busy period for the Reds.

Moreno has not featured for the Reds since their 7-0 thrashing of Spartak Moscow in the Champions League.
The defender had been impressing after winning back his place in Jurgen Klopp’s plans.
The summer signing of Andy Robertson appeared to sell the end for Moreno at Anfield, but the Spaniard has stepped up to the mark.
The former Hull City defender has deputised for Moreno in his absence and impressed when given the opportunity, meaning the Spaniard has a job to win back his place in the Liverpool starting XI.
