Liverpool have already found themselves linked with plenty of attacking talent this summer transfer window.

It had initially been revealed that the Reds were to announce the signing of RB Salzburg’s Patson Daka.

As well as this, the club are also reportedly considering a move for Fiorentina’s Serbian striker Dušan Vlahović.

However, there is one star striker that seems to be regularly linked with the club despite his astronomical price.

PSG’s superstar striker Kylian Mbappe is often the subject of transfer talk with a number of clubs.

Despite this, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has revealed that there is ‘no chance’ the Reds sign him this summer…

As cited by Madrid Xtra above, Romano revealed the news on his Here We Go podcast.

It seems as though Liverpool are more than definitely out of the race for the French striker this summer.

In all honesty, this isn’t the most groundbreaking revelation for a Liverpool fan to hear.

As incredible as it owuld be to be able to secure a player such as Mbappe, it just isn’t realistic.

The Frenchman would cost in excess of his current market value, which is currently sat at £144million.

This sort of money just isn’t in Liverpool possession right now, with the club having to at smart in the market.

It had already been reported that the club would have to sell some players to fund further transfer activity.

£50million trio Divock Origi, Harry Wilson, and Marko Grujic are all likely to depart in the coming months.

However, Reds fans are still likely to see some more new faces, with Romano still stating that Liverpool will make further signings.
