Pepe set to make decision on his future next week following Liverpool bid

Lille president Gerard Lopez has confirmed that they have received four acceptable offers for Liverpool transfer target Nicolas Pepe.

Lopez has revealed that one of the clubs is Napoli, with an offer of £70m, but that the other three sides have all offered Pepe a contract as they battle it out to land him this summer.

He claims that Pepe is currently on holiday and that he expects him to make a decision on his future next week, which means that there may be a delay before any further news on the situation.

As quoted by The Liverpool Echo, Lopez said this:

For Pepe we have received four acceptable offers from four big clubs.

Napoli have made a bid for Pepe which satisfies our £70m demand.

[It is now] up to the player now to decide where to go, with the contract offers made by the four clubs.

Pepe will come back from holiday on Monday and I think he’ll decide in the middle of the week.

Reports on Friday claimed that Liverpool agreed a deal with Lille for Pepe, along with Napoli, Arsenal and Inter Milan – which suggests that they are one of the four clubs Lopez is referring to.

Pepe was superb in Ligue 1 for Lille last season, netting 22 goals and assisting a further 11.
