Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez has identified Liverpool youngster Sheyi Ojo as he targets a new winger this summer.
The Chronicle claim that the Spaniard wants to sign two new wingers this summer as he prepares his squad for Premier League football next season.
One of those two players is believed to be Ojo who Benitez tried to sign last summer when Newcastle originally dropped into the Championship.
Ojo spent time away from Anfield on loan at Wigan and Wolves last season but has remained in and around the first-team squad during this campaign.
The 19-year-old featured in the FA Cup meeting with League Two Plymouth Argyle at Anfield, in what was young Liverpool squad on the day.
Benitez has also identified Leicester youngster Tom Lawrence, who spent this season on loan at Ipswich as well as a move for Andros Townsend, who spent time at Newcastle before they suffered their relegation to the Championship.
