Despite not training yesterday after suffering a nasty eye injury during the weekend’s 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur, it looks like Roberto Firmino could feature for Liverpool against Paris Saint-Germain this evening as he was spotted with the squad as they arrived at Anfield earlier today.
Freelance photographer Mark Hughes was at Anfield and spotted the Brazilian with his teammates as they arrived at the stadium.
Liverpool’s players tend to meet at the stadium early with their belongings before going back to Melwood to prepare, before making the short journey back to the stadium on the team bus a few hours before kick-off.
Firmino was substituted in the second half of the game at Wembley after Jan Vertonghen inadvertently poked him in the eye but thankfully, Firmino avoided too much damage.
The Brazilian was a doubt to feature in tonight’s game after missing yesterday’s training session at Melwood, but it looks like he is ready to face the French champions.
