Mohamed Salah was named on Real Madrid’s list of potential targets to replace Cristiano Ronaldo this summer, but the Liverpool star was not interested.
Spanish outlet El Pias reports that Premier League trio Eden Hazard, Harry Kane and Salah himself were all approached over a move to Real this summer through intermediaries.
Madrid were told that Kane was not for sale and was valued at a mouth-watering £270 million by Spurs.
Real were also not so keen to negotiate with Chelsea, who were doing everything in their power to keep hold Hazard after a summer of speculation.
However, the report claims that Salah’s response was the most ‘conclusive’, as he rejected the chance to move away from Anfield.
It is claimed that the player would prefer to renew his current Liverpool deal, rather than leave the club so soon after arriving from Roma.
After a standout season at Anfield, Real were always likely to take note of Salah’s form, but the Eypgtian has been clear in his intentions to stay put.
