Sevilla look set to beat Liverpool to the signing of PSG midfielder Javier Pastore.
According to Sport, via TalkSport, Sevilla are confident of securing his signature in the January transfer window.
The report claims that Sevilla are willing to pay £17.75m for Pastore, with it being said that they believe PSG would accept a fee in that region.
Premier League sides Chelsea and Liverpool have both been linked with Pastore, although it appears as though he is on his way to Sevilla.
Pastore has been with PSG since 2011 and has gone on to play over 200 games for the French side in all competitions.
In that time he has amassed 42 goals and 53 assists, including 13 assists in a season twice during his PSG career.
Liverpool are keen to bolster their ranks in the coming transfer window, though it appears as though they will have to move onto other targets on this occassion.
