Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is ready to leave the club in January as he fights for a place in the England World Cup squad.
The Mirror reports that the forward is aware of the young talent coming through the ranks for England and feels his position could be under threat.
Sturridge has been unable to hold down a regular place in Jurgen Klopp’s side this season following a series of injuries.

The report states that Liverpool would be happy to sell the player for a fair price, while a short-term loan deal is also a possibility for the striker.
Sturridge was not named in the most recent England squad for the friendlies against Germany and Brazil, with Gareth Southgate citing his lack of game time for his exclusion.
Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham and Liverpool youngster Dominic Solanke both featured over the course of the two games and impressed when given the chance.
Sturridge also has the likes of Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford and Jamie Vardy to compete with.
