Left-back has been a problem position for Liverpool for a number of years now, prompting Jurgen Klopp to plug James Milner in at the position as a makeshift fullback.
This is largely down to Alberto Moreno failing to live up to expectations following his move from Sevilla.
Ready to offload the Spaniard, Liverpool are fielding offers for Moreno and rejected a £11m offer from Napoli earlier this week, but now a fellow Premier League side have registered their interest in Moreno.
The Express have reported that Swansea have made a £13m bid for the flop defender, which comes close to the Reds’ reported £15m asking price.
Liverpool have been linked with Hull standout Andrew Robertson as a potential replacement for Moreno, while a move for Napoli defender Faouzi Ghoulam has also been mentioned.
Moreno seems set to leave Liverpool sooner or later this summer and the 24-year-old might not fetch a better offer than the one Swansea have put on the table.
