Following Liverpool’s emphatic 3-1 victory over Premier League holders Manchester City before the international break, the Reds now sit eight point clear of Leicester City in second place. Although we are only in mid-November, an eight point lead at the top of the Premier League, and a nine point lead over City, is an excellent situation to be in for the Reds. However, as we all know, football can be one of the world’s most unpredictable sports and is never shy of producing a controversial comeback. Jurgen Klopp’s men did find themselves seven points clear of City last season, but lost out by one point, following one of the most riveting title races of all time.
