Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic is being targeted by Watford, off the back of Marco Silva’s appointment at the club.
According to a report from the Telegraph, the Serbian wide man has attracted the interest of many clubs ahead of the summer transfer window and Watford are the latest to have expressed an interest in signing him.
Silva managed Markovic for the second half of last season as he completed a short-term loan move to Hull City. The former Benfica man showed glimpses of quality and looked to have revitalised himself, which has seemingly prompted Silva to revisit the winger.

However, according to the report, Watford are not alone in their interest in Markovic, with Russian side Zenit St Petersburg also claimed to be keen on making a summer move for him.
It doesn’t look as though Markovic has a future at Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp, and he’s expected to depart this summer.
