Inter set to bid for Liverpool transfer target after key World Cup role

Fabrizio Romano has shared that Inter are set to launch a bid for Liverpool transfer target Djed Spence, who took up a crucial role for England at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Romano has shared that Inter will make an official bid later this week, while also claiming that Spence has opened the doors with his willingness to make the move happen,

It was reported last week that Liverpool were one of the clubs that Spence had been offered to, and while there was interest in the full-back, no official approaches had been made.

Inter have already dipped into the English market this summer, signing John Stones after his contract at Manchester City had expired. They have also expressed an ongoing interest in Curtis Jones, a rumour which is consistently in the background of reports.
